Welcome to the Grado Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISE) website! The ISE department offers both undergraduate (B.S.) and graduate (M.S., M.E.A., Ph.D.) programs. A broad range of industrial engineering topics are covered, particularly in the areas of Human Factors Engineering and Ergonomics, Management Systems Engineering, Manufacturing Systems Engineering, and Operations Research. Both the undergraduate and graduate programs are regularly included in U.S. News & World Report's annual listing of the Top 10 Industrial and Systems Engineering Departments in the nation. In 2016, the undergraduate program is ranked #5, and the graduate program is #9.
