Dr. Rao Kannan receives James E. Long Post Doctoral Fellowship from INCOSE
(July 2018) Postdoctoral Research Associate Dr. Hanumanthrao “Rao” Kannan was awarded with the James E. Long Memorial Post Doctoral Fellowship from International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE). According to the INCOSE Post Doctoral Fellowship page, the award was established in order to “support post-doctoral research that has potential to advance the state of the art in systems thinking or the systems perspective.”

Dr. Alejandro Salado earns NSF award on building a scientific theory of verification
(July 17, 2018) Assistant Professor Dr. Alejandro Salado has been awarded by the National Science Foundation (NSF) for his work on value-maximizing system verification strategies in multi-firm engineering projects. With approximately $3 million in grant money over a three year period, Dr. Salado and his colleague will develop a mathematical framework of incentives that will enable engineering teams to define their own verification strategies while optimizing the value of the overall system.

Dr. James Kong receives U.S. Navy Multidisciplinary University Research Initiative award
(June 25, 2018) Associate Professor Dr. Zhenyu “James” Kong has been selected to participate in a U.S. Navy Multidisciplinary University Research Initiative (MURI) award as part of a multi-university research team sponsored by the Office of Naval Research (ONR).
