The Grado Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Virginia Tech is a vibrant, inclusive and collegial community that will soon celebrate its centennial. It is home to 35 tenured/tenure-track faculty, 5 research faculty, 156 graduate students, and close to 600 undergraduate students. The Department is consistently ranked among the top industrial engineering programs in the nation. Currently, our graduate program is ranked #7 and our undergraduate program is ranked #4 by the U.S. News and World Report.
