Guide for Researching Study Abroad Opportunities
Begin the process by visiting the following Virginia Tech sites:
- Global Education Office (GEO) for information on finding, financing & applying for the right program, how to transfer credits, and preparing to go abroad.
- College of Engineering International Programs for information on engineering study, internship and research abroad opportunities.
- ISE Advising Canvas Site “Education Abroad” Module for student testimonials and information.

- ISEP Search to find programs offered through this established international student exchange program.
- 3rd Party Providers for companies and non-profit organizations offering study abroad programs. They are diverse in program types, locations, duration, and cost.
