Dr. Douglas Bish has research interests in the areas of applied operations research, especially in the areas of: disaster management, network models in transportation and logistics, revenue management, and biology and health care issues. He has degrees in Industrial, BioMedical, and Civil Engineering, and before coming to Virginia Tech, he worked for many years in the airline industry doing research and development.
