Since earning his undergraduate degree, he has gained experience in traditional industrial engineering, civil law practice, real estate agency, and legal lecturing. In addition to his current employer, Rob’s opportunities have been with United Parcel Service, Robert F. Pannell, P.C., and Pannell Real Estate, Inc. He has also worked with Richmond Bar Review, BAR/BRI national, Kaplan, and the Virginia Retirement System.

His current position as Strategic Space Planning Manager has rolled all of his prior experience together in one position; it is part real estate, part law, and part industrial engineering. Rob is quick to tell you that he was hired for his current role based in large part on his industrial engineering degree from Virginia Tech.

He earned a BS in Industrial & Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech, and maintains law and real estate licenses in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Rob has served as a member of the Advisory Board for the Department of Industrial & Systems Engineering since 2008. He is an alumnus of the German Club of Virginia Tech, and is active in the Richmond Triumph Register.
