Grado Department of ISE Jumps to #5 Undergraduate Industrial Program!

ISE Jumps to #5 Undergraduate Industrial Program!

After announcing recently that the ISE Department jumped to #4 in the U.S. News and World Report Graduate rankings, the ISE Department Head recently announced a change in the undergraduate rankings as well. The U.S. News and World Report has ranked the Grado Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering's undergraduate program #5 in the nation (tied with Cal-Berkeley). This is the first time in the Department's history that it has broken into the top five with both graduate and undergraduate programs concurrently. The ISE Department Head credits the productivity and visibility of ISE's world-class faculty, one of the finest staff groups he has ever known, the increasingly diverse and competitive student body working hard inside and outside the classroom to enhance ISE's reputation, the ISE Advisory Board which has supported the department with their time, resources and their talents, and ISE's friends and alumni. The College of Engineering, under Dean Benson, has also proven to be very supportive of ISE, even in very challenging financial times. G. Don Taylor, ISE Department Head said, "I couldn't be prouder of this department, and I hope that you share my enthusiasm for our very bright future".
