Future Graduate Students

The faculty take special pride in our graduate program, a program that provides our students with complete coverage of the field of industrial and systems engineering (ISE). Graduate study in ISE is available in the general areas of operations research, manufacturing systems, management systems, and human factors engineering and ergonomics, and PhD candidates drill much deeper into these areas of study. We also offer two other degrees, the Master of Engineering Administration (MEA) and a master's degree in Systems Engineering.

The breadth of our program is further enhanced by the breadth of research opportunities and of research sponsors. The ISE department has, or is affiliated with dozens of research laboratories and centers, providing research and application experiences for graduate students. While working on a valuable advanced degree, most students are focused on a challenging problem for the betterment of systems, peoples or society itself!
