What I like best about the ISE Dept. are the people. All the students are friendly, respectful, and always eager to help their fellow classmates in one way or another. It seems that the ISE faculty as a whole is truly committed to seeing students succeed and excel in every aspect of their education as well as their future careers.
Industrial engineering is simply, “designing and improving systems” or, engineering that deals with the design, improvement, and installation of integrated systems (as of people, materials, and energy)
What do Industrial Engineers do according to the Institute of Industrial Engineers?

Systems Engineering is an interdisciplinary approach and means for enabling the realization and deployment of successful systems. It can be viewed as the application of engineering techniques to the engineering of systems, as well as the application of a systems approach to engineering efforts.
